Marisa's advocacy with Artshub's Amplify Collective

In 2023-24 Marisa was a part of Artshub's Amplify Collective, where over 40 talented and diverse writers joined their writing community, and bring fresh perspectives.

It particularly platformed content from First Nations and Māori writers to those who are Culturally and Linguistically Diverse, People of Colour, and from the D/deaf, disabled, neurodiverse, LGBTQIA+ and senior communities.

You can read their advocacy here, which centered on artist labour and wellbeing, and the kinds of discourse and policy platforms as part of an artist-centered industry.
